The interior of the recently renovated spa is a fully-fledged paradise for the senses, a place where time seems to stand still and the only thing that counts is taking care of oneself.

Everything helps create a sensation of calm wellbeing: from the wicker hanging chairs which overlook the garden to the wood of the sauna, the fire that burns on cold winter days, and the aromatic perfumes which fill the air.

Ceramics for the spa

The floors and wall cladding in the main room of the spa feature the IN-SIDE collection in Terra di Matera, a shade reminiscent of warm beige, bright white and the movement of light and shadows on the ground. An unmistakable atlas of the colours which set the southern Italian city of Matera apart.

The soft Diamond Cream colour from the I Naturali collection adds a certain stylistic finesse to the interior of the Laconium, a type of dry sauna used by the Romans to gradually warm and detox the body.

Today it is typically found in luxury spas as an alternative to the Finnish sauna.

With its refined aesthetic featuring particularly complex patterning, Diamond Cream is like a comforting embrace, able to add a touch of warmth to any environment.

Finally, the decoration of the traditional sauna is completed with the Diamond and IN-SIDE collections. With Cristallo Macchia Vecchia (Diamond) used for the vertical claddings and Terra di Matera (IN-SIDE) for the floors and steps, the collections create a mutual dialogue in which both their personalities shine through. While the former reveals all the beauty of natural crystal through a dynamic and timeless surface woven with beige, grey, amber, and gold veins, the latter comes in warming and calming tones of beige.

The Polished Starlit finish of the Cristallo Macchia Vecchia surface makes everything more magical: the light reflects on the glossy surface and pervades the entire sauna thanks to the intrinsic sparkle of the finish, as if it encapsulated all the stars in the sky.
