A durable ceramic kitchen worktop
Conceived and created by designer Dionisio Jimenez for the Vonita architectural practice, the kitchen installed in a modern Spanish apartment includes the premium Made-in-Italy quality of Laminam ceramic slabs.
In fact, the Ossido collection was chosen in Verderame shade for the worktop of the peninsula.
This choice combines style and performance and establishes an intriguing chromatic dialogue between the flamboyant Verderame shade and the rest of the kitchen, which is much more understated in tone.
The Ossido collection originated from the desire to defeat time itself: the aim was to crystallise a material in a specific moment of its existence and “freeze” it in this state for ever. Laminam took up the challenge of capturing on its surfaces the instant in which the relevant colours achieved their greatest splendour, simulating the effects of weathering and choosing to focus on oxides in particularly dramatic shades, such as Verderame (verdigris) itself.
A blend of art, creativity and superlative quality, the Verderame colour beautifully embodies Laminam’s close bond with design and its love of aesthetic experimentation. This new product is intended for interior designers who wish to reach beyond the confines of the conventional to deliver original solutions, the basis for projects with a strong, innovative personality.
