Laminam is one of the stars of the latest edition of the ADI Design Index with twO, selected in the “Design of materials and technological systems” category. This accolade is in recognition of the project’s innovation and excellence, as well as its value in terms of environmental and social sustainability.

Every year the ADI Design Index, presented at the ADI Design Museum in Milan, brings together the best Italian projects selected on the basis of design quality, innovative value and impact on the country’s production and cultural system. It is also the first step towards the prestigious ADI Compasso d’Oro 2026 Award.

With twO, Laminam confirms its commitment to the development of state-of-the-art, sustainable ceramic solutions. In fact, the ultra-compact slabs just 2 millimetres thick reduce raw material use, optimise freight and minimise environmental impact throughout the product’s lifecycle. Manufactured with raw materials of natural origin and a high recycled material content, twO surfaces are 100% recyclable at end-of-life.

“The ADI Design Index provides a broad survey of all the many facets of contemporary Italian design, expressing the variety and excellence of our production and cultural system,” commented ADI Design Index Committee member Francesco Zurlo.

twO’s inclusion in the ADI Design Index 2025 is a major accolade for Laminam, which continues to drive its experimentation beyond the confines of matter to create more and more innovative, high-performing, sustainable surfaces.
