Body and surface continuity

The great traditional Italian architectural stones: Porfido, Piasentina, Cardoso. These materials have been popular since the age of antiquity due to their strength, hard-wearing resistance and at the same time their outstanding styling appeal. They are the inspiration for the IN-SIDE series. The series is named after the state-of-the-art technology with which Laminam was able to quash another paradigm of ceramic surfaces, creating a body and surface continuity in the slabs.

In-Side can to all intents and purposes be defined as a “ceramic stone”; indeed, it is also a material which can be processed, interpreted and enhanced on all sides: even the back of the slabs, when appropriately processed, can play the starring role. All this is possible thanks to the innate propensity of Laminam to pursue uniqueness and implement top-quality raw materials.
The line is available in a generous 5 colours and two surface effects: Naturale (natural) and Fiammato (a typical flame-patterned processing that distinguishes the most prized Italian stones).

Owing to their strong material and aesthetic impact, IN-SIDE surfaces are especially suited to use in the furniture industry and in the world of interior décor. Slabs whose added value is the expression of continuous material, which proves particularly popular in the world of design and in the furniture industry.

Technical details

The main characteristic of IN-SIDE surfaces is their body and surface continuity, both as material and look. The slabs are resistant to impact, stains and scratches.

The versatility of ceramic means the surfaces retain their specifications even when they are exposed to heat, frost and UV rays, with an average water absorption of 0.1%.

IN-SIDE is a totally natural product that is entirely food-safe because it does not release elements in a solution (even in the event of a fire) and does not allow mould and mildew to form.
