a new space dedicated to architecture, design and design culture

A 3,000+ sqm exhibition and training hub, designed by architect Stefano Belingardi, opens its doors to clients, institutions and the national press, marking a new milestone in Laminam’s growth journey.

Laminam inaugurates HQ Design District, its new space at the company’s headquarters in Fiorano Modenese, conceived as a place for meeting, exchange and inspiration for the worlds of architecture and design. The project reflects the company’s vision and identity through an immersive experience in which material research, aesthetics and technological innovation come together, opening up new design possibilities.

Designed by architect Stefano Belingardi, HQ Design District extends over more than 3,000 sqm and comprises eleven indoor buildings, an outdoor garden and the “Il Cardoso” lounge restaurant. Inspired by contemporary metropolitan districts, the complex unfolds as a journey through exhibition spaces, training areas and application solutions, offering professionals and visitors numerous opportunities to explore the potential of Laminam ceramic surfaces.

The opening day began with an architectural walk through the new spaces, followed by the panel discussion “Tracce di Futuro” (Traces of the Future), moderated by journalist Monica Maggioni. The event brought together leading voices from Italy’s business, institutional and design communities: Alberto Selmi, CEO of Laminam; architect Stefano Belingardi; Michele De Pascale, President of the Emilia-Romagna Region; and Marco Bizzarri, one of the leading figures in the luxury and fashion industries. Their discussion explored industrial vision, regional development and design culture, offering insights into the transformations and future prospects of the sector.

At HQ Design District, Laminam collections and solutions come to life across a sequence of environments and applications: from kitchens and living spaces to outdoor areas and bathrooms, as well as technical solutions for architecture and interior design. The journey showcases the versatility of large-format slabs, the potential of twO by Laminam ultra-thin surfaces and the Laminam Effect concept, demonstrating how different materials, finishes and textures can work together to create coordinated, harmonious spaces.

Completing the experience is an advanced digital ecosystem integrating touchscreens, tablets, LED walls and interactive technologies. These tools connect the displayed surfaces with dedicated content and information, guiding visitors as they explore the Laminam offering.

More than just a new exhibition space, HQ Design District represents a strategic investment and a new expression of Laminam’s vision: a place where material knowledge meets design culture, offering architects, designers and professionals new opportunities for inspiration, experimentation and exchange.
