Laminam at SICAM 2026
The evolution of the RARE collection and éxo, the concept kitchen designed by Andrea Federici, explore new possibilities for ceramic surfaces in contemporary living.
At SICAM 2026, taking place in Pordenone from 20 to 23 October, Laminam presents its latest innovations, bringing together material research, technological expertise and design.
The spotlight is on the RARE collection, enriched with new colours, textures and finishes, and éxo, the concept kitchen designed by Andrea Federici, where the expressive potential of ceramic surfaces takes on a new architectural dimension.
RARE: new expressions of material
Inspired by the richness of natural stone, the RARE collection continues to evolve through surfaces that combine visual depth, tactile qualities and distinctive aesthetic identities.
The new Pietra di Gré Ruggine evokes the transformation of material over time, with oxidised tones and an irregular texture enhanced by the DNA finish.
Calacatta Rosa introduces delicate pink and coral veining on a luminous background, while Rosso Lepanto combines deep red tones with contrasting light veins and emerald accents.
The collection also welcomes Breccia Medicea and Quarzite in the DNA finish, alongside Bronzite in Polished and Bush Hammered finishes.
A further expression of material research is the Rain finish, introduced on selected RARE surfaces. Inspired by the movement of water, its subtle bas-relief engravings create a dynamic interplay of light, texture and depth.
éxo: the freedom to compose space
Designed by Andrea Federici, éxo reinterprets the kitchen as a flexible architectural system, exploring new relationships between material, functionality and living spaces.
Composed of three independent and repeatable modules, the concept integrates areas dedicated to washing, cooking and food preparation, alongside solutions for organisation and storage.
Its modular configuration allows the elements to be arranged freely, creating compositions that adapt to indoor and outdoor environments.
Clad in Pietra di Gré from the RARE collection with a DNA finish, éxo highlights the expressive character of ceramic surfaces. Integrated horizontal lighting enhances the sculptural volumes, creating a floating effect that lends the composition an unexpected lightness.
Innovation in every detail
Material experimentation extends to the smallest elements of the design.
The warm mineral tones of Pietra di Gré are complemented by Amazzonia from the Slate collection, featured in the sink and in a chopping board combining natural wood and ceramic.
These details are created using twO by Laminam, the ultra-thin 2 mm ceramic surface that expands the possibilities of material application through its reduced thickness, flexibility and ease of cutting.
The development of éxo brings together the expertise of Andrea Federici and the technical partners Häfele, Hettich, Jein by Zambetti, Kesseböhmer, PITT® cooking and Project Group, whose contributions integrate functionality and technical innovation into the overall design.
Through the evolution of RARE and the presentation of éxo, Laminam continues to explore the potential of ceramic surfaces, opening new perspectives for architecture, interior design and contemporary living.
